Welcome
to AORN Communities
AORN
is pleased to announce that the website templates discussed at the 2003
Leadership Conference in Denver have been developed and are available
for Chapters, State Councils, and Specialty Assemblies. The templates are
designed to allow you to easily develop a website for your members that
will be housed on AORN’s server. The program is voluntary and is
designed for groups that may not have a website or may want to
change internet service providers. There is no set-up or monthly fee for
this service, and AORN can provide technical support for these sites.
Each site contains:
-
Home
-
Newsletter (general
area for you to share documents with your members)
-
Events
(highlight local and regional events)
-
Directory
Services (search for member information)
-
Photos
(showcase meeting and fundraising highlights)
-
Links (link
to important sites for your members)
If you
are ready to join, click

Thank you to our pilot groups who helped test the template. They
were extremely helpful in improving the process. As you can tell, each
group was able to customize the site to meet their needs in terms of color,
content, etc. Also, please click on several of the links so you
get a broader view of what this this template can do for you and your
group.
